CoCCc Announces the 1998-199 Compaq Teaching With Computer Technology Grant ProgramK-12 teachers in each state who can demonstrate successful use of computer technology in their classrooms are eligible to win a Compaq computer for their classrooms. (Two winners from each state.) The program offers applicants whose classroom projects rely on computer technology the chance to win a Compaq computer for their classrooms. Gates Public Library Foundation Bill Gates has established the Gates Public Library Foundation to help make public libraries more accessible in the Information Age. This initiative is primarily targeted toward underserved public libraries in low-income areas.
